Each year, the Rotary Club of Middletown is proud to honor a high school senior from each of the eight high schools in our region.  These students embody our motto "Service Above Self" and are recognized for their outstanding commitment to community.  Please click below to read more!
We are pleased to present the January 2021 Student of the Month:
Rilynn Tanasi, a high honors student at Middletown High, has a class ranking in the top 95th percentile and has excelled in a number of honors and advanced placement courses, including AP Psychology and AP Studio Art.  Athletically, she is an accomplished and talented Varsity Tennis player.  Outside of the classroom, Rilynn has devoted time to community service projects such as JDRF walks, as well as scorekeeping for volleyball games and providing assistance to faculty.  Rilynn enthusiastically looks forward to pursuing her career goals.

Students are chosen by their schools for their scholarship, community service, and personal character which reflect the ideals of Rotary International.  In normal times, each of the students would attend a Club meeting to be honored; but this year, given the current circumstances, their schools have agreed to recognize them with a presentation of their certificates and gifts.

We will feature additional Students of the Month for February through May of 2021 -- please check back for updates!
